
Glen poured the particles into his hand. Using a finger, he tapped and moved the dainty dust around. He took a sniff of the dust before producing a magnifying glass he happened to have on him. (I was not about to ask why he carried one around.) He hemmed and mumbled all while he inspected the dirt. Finally, he tasted it.
I groaned in disgust. "Was that necessary?"
Ace isn't having the best time. First, he learns he has strange, paranormal powers. Then, he learns that there is more to his father's disappearance then he thought. Now, a secret government organization known as Ether Operations has hunted him down.
Ether Operations, a task force designed to monitor those with special abilities, wants Ace to join them. In exchange for his "voluntary assistance," Ether Operations will help him find his father.
But once Ace meets someone who knew his father, his life spirals out of control as more secrets, lies, and hidden agendas are thrust upon him.
