It is 1859 and Emaline decides to become a Mail Order Bride.

Emaline is the curious one of the twins. Brought up together with her twin sister Fanny by their widowed mother, she has always wanted to get a taste of life away from their tiny shack of a home. Life on the Blue Jack farm where they work is no easy ride. Not that they have much choice either as they would otherwise be homeless had the flush farmer not taken pity on the woman with two young kids in tow.

Aden invites her over West to be his wife after she answers his ad in the matrimonial news. The two are not without troubles, but their trust in God, as well as love for each other, takes them through turbulent times.
