This volume was a little harder to write as I just don't understand things like pony play or how or why an obviously strong dominant man so easily fell into being kept a 'prisoner', but what I did understand was how superb their training was via the incremental indoctrination and conditioning that taught Mark (or was it gave him license?) how to free himself and completely submit. I don't think the women ever planned it, but their regime was perfect as the grooming eased him into little by little giving up his control and once they addicted him to hard anal slavery he was done for as a free man.
