Description

Kara Machado, an LAPD undercover operative, is in danger. Her identity may soon exposed to the Mexican cartel leader she's sleeping with because another operative, hoping for a big payoff, has informed his cartel contact that they've been infiltrated by a female officer. Kara's boyfriend whisks her abruptly to their compound in Puerto Penasco while they investigate whether it might be her. They have a huge meth shipment scheduled for LA and can't risk any tipoffs.

Kara happens to be newly promoted homicide detective Buddy Steel's first love from their days at the police academy.
