English summary: The special status of the restored Frauenkirche as a place of worship, a place of musical culture and a tourist magnet still justifies an extensive engagement with its history, its art history and its function in the present-day cultural life of the city. In a speech held in front of the Society for the Promotion of the Frauenkirche Dresden, the former mayor Herbert Wagner describes the interplay between civic and institutional commitment in the reconstruction of the monument. One article deals with the topic of Marian devotion in the Frauenkirche in the Middle Ages, another with the burial monuments in and around the Frauenkirche in the 16th and 17th century. Two important articles focus on the architectural history of the buildings surrounding the Frauenkirche, the cloth hall and an additional quarter on the west side of the Neumarkt. The new Old Town of Frankfurt am Main is presented as an example of a similar reconstruction of a neighbourhood. The significance that such a reconstruction holds in the urban environment is the subject of an essay by an urban planner. The recently re-ignited debate about high-rises in Dresden is covered in another article. Three recent articles deal with the present life within the Frauenkirche. One of which introduces the "Donnerstagsforum" ("Thursday Forum") which was held in the Frauenkirche. Last but not least, it is individuals who have brought about the 'miracle' of the reconstruction. Special thanks go out to the construction manager Eberhard Burger. As always, a report on the activities of the Society and a review conclude the varied, but also important series of articles in the Yearbook, which is now available as volume 23. German description: Nach wie vor rechtfertigt der Sonderstatus der wiedererrichteten Frauenkirche als Gotteshaus, als Statte der Musikkultur und Touristenmagnet eine umfassende Beschaftigung mit ihrer Geschichte, ihrer Kunstgeschichte und ihrer Funktion im gegenwartigen kulturellen Leben der Stadt. Der ehemalige Oberburgermeister Herbert Wagner schildert in einem vor der Fordergesellschaft gehaltenen Vortrag noch einmal das Ineinandergreifen von burgerschaftlichem und institutionel-lem Engagement beim Wiederaufbau des Baudenkmals. Ein Beitrag beschaftigt sich mit dem Thema der Marienfrommigkeit im Mittelalter in der Frauenkir-che, ein weiterer mit den Grabdenkmalern in und an der Frauenkirche im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert. Der Baugeschichte von Gebauden aus dem Umfeld der Frauenkirche, dem Gewandhaus und ei-nem weiteren Quartier an der Westseite des Neumarkts, widmen sich zwei wichtige Beitrage. Als ein Beispiel einer vergleichbaren Rekonstruktion eines Stadtquartiers wird die neue Altstadt von Frankfurt am Main vorgestellt. Welche Bedeutung eine solche Rekonstruktion im stadtischen Um-feld hat, ist das Thema des Aufsatzes eines Stadtebauers. Die seit kurzem wieder aufgeflammte Diskussion um Hochhauser in Dresden findet ihren Niederschlag in einem weiteren Beitrag. Mit dem gegenwartigen Leben in der Frauenkirche beschaftigen sich drei aktuelle Berichte. Einer davon stellt das in der Frauenkirche abgehaltene "Donnerstagsforum" vor. Nicht zuletzt sind es Einzelper-sonen, die das "Wunder" des Wiederaufbaus bewirkt haben. Hier wird Eberhard Burger als Baulei-ter ein besonderer Dank abgestattet. Wie immer beschliessen ein Bericht zur Tatigkeit der Fordergesellschaft und eine Rezension den vielfaltigen, aber auch gewichtigen Reigen von Beitragen des Jahrbuchs, das hiermit als Band 23 vorliegt.
