Der demographische Wandel stellt die Frage nach der Versorgung alter Menschen, die nicht von ihren Angehorigen umsorgt werden konnen. Wie beeinflussen sich die wirtschaftlichen, politischen und institutionellen Akteure gegenseitig? Wie lassen sich ihre teils unterschiedlichen Perspektiven zum Wohl alterer Menschen integrieren? Die Studie geht den geschichtlichen Entwicklungen der Pflege von 1870-2012 nach und konkretisiert mithilfe von Interviews am Beispiel des Frankfurter Diakonissenhauses. Konzepte, die zu sektorenubergreifender Zusammenarbeit anregen, soziale und technische Innovationen, ein Blick in andere Lander und Aspekte diakonischer Bildung beschreiben weitere Entwicklungen, die zu einer 'alters- und pflegefreundlichen Kultur' beitragen konnen.[An age based home. How do the economical, political and institutional antagonists influence each other? How do their very different perspectives of the needs work together and how can they be integrated for the well being of the elderly?The study shows the historical development of care as from 1870-2012 and includes precise information and interviews of the concepts of the Deaconesses Home in Frankfurt. Concepts, which encourage an interdepartmental cooperation, social and technical innovations and a view of other countries and their aspects of social welfare. All in all these describe developments that could lead to a culture, which is kinder and more considerate for the elderly in need of care.
