English description: Before the middle of the fifteenth century the Munich physician and author wrote an herbal that describes the medical efficacy of more than 170 drugs drawn from plants and animals. With its large format pictorial representations of animals and plants, it is the only completely illustrated herbal from the incunable period in the German language. The text is presented here for the first time in a critical edition. Information about the author, the transmission and textual history, as well as a glossary complement the edition. Furthermore, a representative selection of 64 full-page color reproductions is appended from the lead manuscript used as the basis for the text. German description: Noch vor der Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts verfasste der Munchener Arzt und Literat ein Krauterbuch, das die medizinische Wirkung von mehr als 170 tierischen und pflanzlichen Drogen beschreibt. Mit ihren grossformatigen bildliche Darstellungen der Tiere und Pflanzen ist es das einzige durchgehend illustrierte Krauterbuch in deutscher Sprache vor der Inkunabelzeit. Der Text wird erstmals in einer kritischen Ausgabe vorgelegt. Informationen zum Verfasser, zu Uberlieferung und Textgeschichte sowie ein Sachglossar erganzen diese Edition, der zudem eine reprasentative Auswahl von 64 ganzseitigen Farbabbildungen aus der dem Text zugrunde liegenden Leithandschrift beigegeben ist.
