Designed specifically for the Wars of Liberation rather than adapting Napoleonic rules to these smaller, more cutthroat internecine actions, Libertadors forces players to manage force morale and inspire their troops to full and fierce faith in their cause. Commitment to the cause wins more battles than steady supply lines! With practice and the variable bound turn system, battles involving around 5,000 troops a side can be played in almost real time.

Focusing on heroes who lead by example, Libertadors' straightforward yet thematic mechanics provide meaningful and flavourful tactical choices throughout the game. Included in the book are:
