Tallan's early years were filled with curiosity, talent, and drive. A gifted clarinetist and saxophonist, a strong academic, and a fearless competitor on the sports field, he was always destined to lead. But his path was anything but typical.

Tallan's football journey began with Swan Districts Colts and soared across 262 senior WAFL games. Known for his toughness, humility, and integrity, he captained the club with quiet authority, earned a Fairest & Best, represented Western Australia several times, and was later honoured as a "Ball Legend" in 2025. But it's his off-field legacy that truly defines him.

With degrees in Sports Science and Education, Tallan became a passionate teacher, mentor, and leader in the fitness industry, later founding F45 Training Midvale. As a Town of Bassendean Councillor, he continues to serve his community with the same dedication he showed on the field.
