Description

Detective Blair Conners promised himself that he wouldn't date while on the force, then he met Emma James while on Grayson Clark's case and he can't get her out of his mind. He would never approach her. His job was just to demanding. He would never have the time to put into the relationship, at least not the way he felt she would deserve. Not to mention his job wasn't the safest. What if something were to happen to him? Could he lay that burden on her or worse, what if he died?

Emma James didn't know that the guy she had just started dating, Wayne Carter was a thief along with his best friend Jake Benton. When she finds out she goes to her boss's wife Ava who is a part of the Seals and Bounty Security firm about what to do. Ava calls Detective Connors who works with them a lot for his help.
