'The Fire Falls in Africa' is the remarkable history of not only a church denomination, but the birth of Pentecost on the continent of Africa. Born in the grubby back streets of Doornfontein, Johannesburg, the Apostolic Faith Mission grew to be the largest Pentecostal denomination in Southern Africa. Its history is full of heroics, sacrifice, pain and tears. From the early days of persecution from other churches to the glorious days of growth and expansion, through the pain and disgrace of Apartheid to unification, the AFM has never wavered from spreading the Good News that Jesus Christ is the Savior, Healer, Sanctifier, and Baptizer in the Spirit.
