With urbanization the provision & management of such infrastructures becomes complicated & may be difficult to manage with traditional systems. Thus, integration will enable urban areas to alleviate such problems. The absence of urban infrastructure integration leads to redundancy of activities & resources. Therefore, infrastructure integration through spatial, financial & institutional aspects plays a vital role to wisely use the available resources for different urban development issues on priority basis. It also strengthens the relationship among the different utility providing institutions to plan, implement & monitor their activities.
