"Voices from Babylon; Or, The Records of Daniel the Prophet" is a 1879 work by Joseph A. Seiss. It recounts the story of the prophet Daniel, A noble Jewish youth of Jerusalem who is captured by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Daniel is the hero in the "Book of Daniel", a biblical apocalypse combining a prophecy of history with an eschatology. His best-known work is "The Great Pyramid of Egypt, Miracle in Stone: Secrets and Advanced Knowledge" (1877), considered a primary text of pyramidology. Other notable works by this author include: "The Last Times and the Great Consummation" (1856), "The Children of Silence; Or, The Story of the Deaf" (1887), and "The Letter of Jesus" (1888).
