What better way to find out what works in team science and outreach than to ask those who are living and breathing it? This book captures peer-to-peer learning experiences that can be disseminated to a wider audience. Moreover, What Works in Team Science and Outreach is intended to inform and guide those who are tasked with building and leading interdisciplinary teams. Rather than approach team dynamics as challenges to be addressed, we present them as a phenomenon filled with curious mysteries and miracles that should be embraced and explored. It is no easy task to get stakeholders from various disciplines to come together, stay open to ideas, and then make decisions in productive ways that make team members feel involved in something much bigger their individual contributions.

Through this collection, we aim to explore, celebrate, and add value to the team science community of research through disseminating positive science team experiences.
