This terrifying adventure set in an underworld of crime and drugs is based on a real-life story of a young man called Jacob who returns to Los Angeles haunted by his past. Briefly embroiled with the Mexican Mafia, he then goes away to school hoping to escape. His first semester is brilliant, but his world begins to fall apart when he confesses in his sleep to strangers at a party. The strangers run and tell everyone and a rumor is circulated. Pushed to the breaking point, he attemps suicide and is hospitalized. At the end of recovery the psychologist ask Jacob why do the patients trust you? He replies, I helped them find freedom!
