English summary: The Biblischer Kommentar Altes Testament is a detailed and wide ranging scholarly commentary of the Old Testament on which a respected team of scholars has been working for many years. The work reflects the current state of research and will contain 24 volumes when complete. The commentary is edited by Beate Ego, Friedhelm Hartenstein and Udo Rutersworden. A project of this magnitude calls for a variety of formats and acquisition models. Each commentary is published over time in the form of fascicles and becomes available as a volume when complete. Individual fascicles are published regularly, and thus at shorter intervals, and can be acquired on a subscription basis, either by subscribing to the entire work or to individual volumes. German description: Der Biblische Kommentar Altes Testament ist ein umfassend und ausfuhrlich angelegter wissenschaftlicher Gesamtkommentar zum Alten Testament, an dem bedeutende Wissenschaftler seit Jahren arbeiten - er reprasentiert den aktuellen Forschungsstand. Fertiggestellt wird er 24 Bande umfassen. Dieses Vorhaben erfordert verschiedene Erscheinungsformen und Bezugsmoglichkeiten: Die Kommentare erscheinen in Einzellieferungen uber einen langeren Zeitraum und nach Fertigstellung als Bandausgabe. Regelmassig und somit in kurzeren Abstanden erscheinen Einzellieferungen, die in Fortsetzung zu beziehen sind, und zwar entweder als Fortsetzungsbezug auf das Gesamtwerk oder als Fortsetzungsbezug auf Einzelbande.
