English summary: In this book, Heide Gottner-Abendroth introduces landscape mythology research using the example of German landscapes. Here, material relicts of the Neolithic/ Bronze Age cultural layer are being analysed and linked to the surrounding landscape. This requires the extensive method of "intellectual archaeology", which the author has developed through years of intensive study both at home and abroad. She not only links archaeology and geography statements, but also uses mythology, folklore (folklore and customs) and language studies in an interdisciplinary manner. In this sense, the matriarchal landscape mythology is a partial area of securing evidence for early historic matriarchal cultures. German description: In diesem Buch stellt Heide Gottner-Abendroth landschaftsmythologische Forschungen am Beispiel deutscher Landschaften vor. Dabei werden materielle Relikte der jungsteinzeitlichen/bronzezeitlichen Kulturschicht analysiert und zu der sie umgebenden Landschaft in Beziehung gesetzt. Erforderlich ist dafur die umfassende Methode einer "geistigen Archaologie", die die Autorin unter jahrelangen intensiven Studien im In- und Ausland entwickelt hat. Es werden nicht nur Aussagen aus Archaologie und Geographie, sondern ebenso aus Mythologie, Volkskunde (Folklore und Brauchtum) und Sprachforschung interdisziplinar in einen Zusammenhang gestellt. In diesem Sinne ist die matriarchale Landschaftsmythologie ein Teilbereich der Spurensicherung in Sachen fruhhistorischer matriarchaler Kulturen.
