The "schools of photography" of the Rhineland are internationally renowned. The famous Becher School emerged from their class at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Since 1990, the diploma program Audiovisual Media has been available at the Academy of Media Arts (KHM) in Cologne, an entirely new place for future-oriented teaching and practice of art photography.
