Anasazi thought that nothing could go wrong, but that was before he learned that anything can happen in an instant. His son, Kafele, had been wrapped in a cocoon of hatred and jealousy of his brother, Menefer. Because Kafele believed that Menefer was to be the Future Anasazi, he took matters into his own hands. Under the belief that he should have had the honor to train as Anasazi's apprentice instead of his brother, Kafele murdered the only person standing in his way . . . or so he thought. Thirteen years after Anasazi had banished his son for killing his brother, Kafele came to find out that Menefer had had a son and that he was the one destined to be the Future Anasazi. Kafele, filled with rage that he had been deceived for so long, set his mind on finding and killing Michael. What Kafele did not anticipate was that Michael would be such a nuisance to him. Twice, Michael – with help from Nicole and Brian Sastasha – would obliterate his plans to destroy the Kingdom of Anasazi. Not able to resist any longer, Kafele confronted Michael himself in a fury so fierce that Michael could not withstand. In the end, Michael was run through with the same sword that Kafele had used to kill Michael's father. Even though Anasazi, Michael's grandfather, arrived just in time to save him, Michael had still been stabbed in the heart and it would take time to recover. Still, he was left weak in more ways than one. Revenge is a curious thing . . .
