Description

Lois Peterson has had enough excitement for a woman her age. She'd like to get back to her quiet life managing a small apartment complex, but that's before the man shows up on her doorstep, sweating blood.

Lois isn't all that familiar with curses but she knows one when she sees it and she wants nothing to do with this one. But when a mythological sea creature makes her an offer she can't refuse, she teams up with a private investigator to find out who's doing the cursing and why—before time runs out on her.

Along the way, she'll deal with angry cephalopods, a vengeful ghost, a bear-were who can't control her shifting, a misfiring spell, and the danger of falling in love with a man who has a secret she really doesn't want to know.
