In diesem illustrierten Atlas werden alle Straßenbahn-, Stadtbahn- und U-Bahn-Betriebe in Nordafrika und im Nahen Osten vorgestellt, von den klassischen Duewag-Fahrzeugen in Alexandria über die modernen Straßenbahnbetriebe französischer Prägung in Marokko, Algerien und Israel bis hin zu den fahrerlosen Metros in Doha, Dubai und Riyadh. Für jede Stadt gibt es einen detaillierten Netzplan (meist als Gleisplan), mit allen Haltestellen, eingleisigen Strecken, Schleifen, Betriebshöfen usw. Kurze Texte beschreiben die Besonderheiten der einzelnen Betriebe.
