Description

In the tiny Faerie town of Hamlet, violence is something that happens somewhere else— until Cian Baker discovers a boy lying unconscious at the edge of his wheat field. Naked, barely breathing, and with skin the color of moonlight, Pearl wakes remembering nothing of who he is or where he came from.

Despite Pearl's strangeness, Basil, the miller's son, can't stay away. His kindness draws Pearl close, and soon the two are bound by a love as steady as the turning of the waterwheel.
