Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) was a French painter who is regarded as one of the greatest of the post-Impressionists. Reproduced here is his work, Terracotta Pots and Flowers (1891-1892), which saw Cézanne enter a new world of still life painting. Here he arranges everyday objects including a pitcher with potted geraniums. We are honoured to feature this painting from the Barnes Foundation as the first release from our collaborative collection.
