'Coming Out in an Empowered Way' is an important resource for gay men and is the fifth volume of the Coming Out series.

Written by international Gay Men's Life Coach, and host of the podcast 'Empowering Gay Men', Alan Cox, the book sets out what the Coming Out process is; its different stages and possible reactions from others around us.

In the second part of the book Alan describes how life coaching can be used to help gay men become more confident and empowered. The book ends with fifty questions that a gay man might be asked from supportive friends and family. But the author also knows from his own experience that coming out can lead to a hostile reaction and has therefore included fifty questions that might arise from a non-supportive person. By reading through this book and applying its techniques as well as role playing the questions Alan hopes that the reader will feel empowered.
