Description

Homestead is the first book in The Queendoms Trilogy. It is the fifth novel in The Queendoms Series that begins with The Califia Trilogy (Rebellion, The Hunt, Queen of Califia) and Second Bond.

It is a time of peace in the queendoms civilization. Built on the ruins of the male-dominated civilization that collapsed four hundred years ago on the former North American land mass, the queendoms thrive by imposing female rule and principles that support the safety of women and girls and the equal sharing of resources for all.

Anming Lee, Queen's Knight and leader of the knights that protect Queen Jacintha and the Queendom of Califia, now lives in the castle with his bond mate Kellen Cassidy. While on the surface all is calm, a sense of unease moves through the three inland queendoms of Califia, Madrona and Rio.

In Madrona, young Queen Lilith struggles to handle the responsibilities thrust on her upon her mother Queen Genevieve's death, while her older brother Prince Adam, fearing the queendom lacks defenses, continues his secret training to turn the Oak Vale temple members into a deadly fighting force.

On a special island in the Rio Queendom, survivors of the Seesun marsh abuses gather to heal and to form a new society without men. But on another island south of Madrona, a new danger is brewing. The former Seesun leaders have started a new settlement of men with a different goal. They call it the homestead.
