Bob Williams, to all outward appearances, led a very normal and mundane life. He did not try to be the center of attention and in fact had done his utmost to be as normal and unobtrusive as he knew how to be.

His one experience with the government, as a celebrity, had made him cautious to the extreme. Bob made one mistake. He tried to help a friend in dire need, and the government caught him again.

This government agency not only knew his telepathic powers were as powerful as ever, but had him under sedation in some unknown place. He wondered if he would ever see the outside world again.

He knew the government was frightened of people like himself, but he was about to encounter something that frightened them even more than he did. A lot more.
