Jessica and Sam from Kananaskis, Death in the Rockies, are back in another high adventure.

The Banff Park Wardens become embroiled in the death of an anthropologist friend of Jessica's. Sam and his bride Nicole, along with their friends are aboard the "Minnewanka Queen," a sternwheeler, celebrating their wedding when a wet suit encased body is caught up in the ship's paddles. The couple's honeymoon diving trip to Mexico is set on the back burner when Nicole volunteers Sam to help Jessica delve into the death of Karen Rogers.

Jessica, Sam and Nicole, along with Jessica's new friend, Bill come up against powerful forces that will do everything and anything to prevent them from learning the secrets hidden in the drowned village beneath the waters of Lake Minnewanka. A mystery that could change their lives, the very nature of Canada's oldest national park and Alberta, forever.
