An ancient species indigenous to the Galaxy known as the Variants have roamed undetected for centuries preying on humans and their limitless addiction to pleasure. While not parasitic as such, the Variant are beings that feed off the pleasure experienced by humans, especially if the Variant is providing the pleasure.

One such Variant known as Eve, preys on suitable mates on planet Earth, using her ability to read her victims minds she is then able to change into the person her prey desires most, thus giving her the ability to provide maximum pleasure and ingest all the s energy and sustenance the victim's pleasure provides.

Variants are an ageless species and have needed to adapt to the changing mores of acceptable human interaction. From the 'one partner for life' times of the Victorian era to the 'free love' Sexual Revolution of the 20th century allowing a change of partner at will being acceptable, the innate skills of the Variant allow her to continue to thrive in the current evolving world.
