The present volume documents the XVIIth meeting in the bilateral theological dialogue between the EKD and the Ecumenical Patriarchate and contains all the presentations as well as the communique of the meeting. Approaches for an ecumenical pneumatology are developed, drawing on exegetical, patristic and liturgical-theological insights and the more recent systematic-theological Orthodox and Protestant literature. The results of previous dialogue conferences are taken up and developed further. In the communique, convergences are formulated, especially in the fields of pneumatology, eschatology and ecclesiology.
