When 15 year old Reagan is transferred to Millsbridge High, she has no idea how drastically her life is going to change. She's identified immediately by some of her new classmates as someone who has "disrupted the earth's magnetic field." But there are strong forces at play, stronger than any of them could have anticipated.

Using technology which has been passed down through bio-digital algorithmic DNA, a series of seemingly invincible people are born -preternatural men, women and children hiding in plain sight. Reagan is one of them. One Preternatural, Theanah, has returned from the future and is out to destroy the world. And there's only one who can possibly prevent that from happening.

As the epic battle for domination begins, a fracture between now and a future worlds away is formed. Theanah's nefarious ambitions brings the planet to the brink of doom. Will the combined forces of a group of gifted, technologically-created, preternatural teens be able to save it? Or will their inability to cope lead them all to fall alone?
