Description

Paul was a best-selling author, whose first book recounted the true story of his crossing of the Atlantic alone on a wooden sailboat. Along the way, he found his ex-wife's old diaries and gained insight into their break-up. When the boat sprung a leak at the midpoint in his journey, Paul watched as the diaries—and the boat—sank into the dark waters.

Casey was captivated with the scruffy writer, and when Hurricane Betsy rolled in, they were marooned together in her lovely Cape Cod apartment, riding out the storm and kindling strong feelings for one another.
