Description
De uitdaging bij het maken van 'The Bookends' lag bij Eric Gales vooral in het zichzelf uitdagen. “Het is redelijk bekend dat ik wel een beetje gitaar kan spelen,” zegt hij lachend, "maar voor dit album wilde hij zichzelf niet alleen motiveren als muzikant maar ook als vocalist." De dag voordat Eric naar LA zou vliegen kwam zijn oorspronkelijke producer David Bianco tragisch genoeg om het leven. David’s management heeft toen Matt Wallace voorgesteld (Maroon 5, Faith No More etc) die uiteindelijk de productie heeft gedaan. Op 'The Bookends' staan ook samenwerkingen met B. slade en Provogue artiesten Beth Hart en Doyle Bramhall II.
