Harmoni and her team are in a race to find the creature who can fix Ares. This isn't a mission they can blast through while snagging loot along the way. They'll have to find someone who knows who he is and where he is first. Omen made a deal with them that he would help them locate the syrictae. They all know he's not assisting them out of the kindness of his undead heart. If he reneges on their bargain, Harm and her friends will walk.

The magical realm Harm and Ares keep being drawn to still remains a mystery. They can't control when they end up there, but they know it must have some answers that they're seeking. Harmoni's visions show them pieces of the past, but not what became of their ancient kin.

Aion Corp hunters are relentless in their pursuit of the runaways. Their plans hinge on getting Ares back beneath their control. His time is running out and it's vital that they recapture him soon. The rest of the team is expendable, except for Harmoni. They would very much like to get their hands on her as well. She's the key to figuring out exactly what their lost specimen can do.

Harmoni and her team are faced with a different kind of mission when they return to Augury from their latest job. One of the wolves who guards Omen's property is in trouble. Rescuing the shifter will have repercussions that none of them could have expected. It will change the dynamic of the group entirely.

They'll need every edge they can get during their war against Aion Corp and the Octet who run the company. Their enemies are now aware that Harmoni is far more powerful than they'd realized. Omen has to choose someone to search for the syrictae now that they have an idea of where he's lurking. Ares is his hated rival, so the last thing he wants to do is aid him. Harmoni will take her team and leave if he does nothing, so he has no choice but to ask for help from someone he'd rather avoid at all costs.
