This means that their survival, health, nutrition education and protection must be seen as a key priority The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) has laid the ground rules for the protection of the child, but nations have not done enough as to the protection of children against violence, seeing the large number of children suffering from violence.Africa has also responded favorably, through the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACRWC).
