Paars vinyl! Lee Fields ademt soul sinds zijn geboorte in 1951. Als tiener verhuist hij eind jaren ’60 naar New York om aan zijn carrière als zanger te werken. Met succes want de Amerikaanse artiest groeit snel uit tot een fenomeen en gaat hij op tournee met onder andere Kool and the Gang, Sammy Gordon and the Hip-Huggers en Darrell Banks. Vandaag de dag werkt Lee Fields samen met zijn eigen band The Expressions en samen ontwikkelen ze gezonde soul.
