Dina Rubina lives in Ma'aleh Adumim, Israel. She is the author of two other long novels. Her work has been translated into 12 languages, and a three-volume collection of her work in Russian is forthcoming. Daniel M. Jaffe is a fiction writer and translator of Russian literature.
