As opposed to limited human labor imports (and outsourcing), our replacement by digital minds and mechanical bodies are supposed to be total. And we're supposed to be happy about it.

Immigration and automation function as two sides of a single vice squeezing hardworking citizens. There are sound political responses, which this book will detail. But the best long-term strategy is to reverse human atrophy and build up human excellence. Human beings must find a reason to exist and to excel.

This book is a raucous pep talk. We cannot be demoralized.
