Emily A. Midianga was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Being the second child out of nine: three boys and six girls.
After graduating from high school, Emily joined Kenya Commercial Bank Computer Department as data-entry personnel.
After twenty-two years of the most boring but very high-paying job, Emily decided to relocate to the US to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse.
She is currently happily living in Houston, Texas, surrounded by four grandsons: Darryl, Dylan (a.k.a. MJ), Maddox, and Mason.
Emily loves to relive the stories she heard from her grandmother to her young grandkids, who seem to get enough of "the fake stories" from grandma.
