Description
August 1982. The eve of the new season. Jackie Scott stumbles merrily out of the Wallsend Social Club and makes his way home. He wakes his 7-year-old son Terry and tells him that the glory days are set to return to Tyneside: Newcastle United have signed Kevin Keegan and the bairn will be there to see it all. The following Saturday Special K scores the winner on his debut as Newcastle beat QPR 1-0 at Gallowgate. And just as Keegan's love affair with United begins, so too does Terry's. 25 years later, with marriages and girlfriends, players and managers little more than water under the Tyne Bridge, father and son are rebuilding bridges of their own. And both are set to learn that some people are just born united.
