This volume reproduces the original drawings used for the interior and exterior of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. First built in 1787 for the Prince of Wales as a neo-classical marine villa, the Pavilion had grown into an Indian/Chinese fantasy by the time the prince became King in 1820.
