Toen Elton John in 1968 getekend werd door DJM (Dick James Music) nam hij 12 tracks op, wat z’n debuut album zou moeten worden. Het album werd echter om onduidelijke redenen nooit uitgebracht. In 2021 werd het als limited edition uitgebracht in de mono-versie voor Record Store Day. Nu is er dan de stereo versie, afgemixed in de Abbey Road studio’s. De CD bevat zowel de stereo als mono mixen.
