Livvie Collins is having the worst day of her life. Not only did she get fired from her dream job, but she just found out her ex cheated on her. When all she wants to do is stay at home and cry, her best friend Carly makes her get out of bed to attend a charity event. A black tie event, no less.

Things turn around when Livvie buys an expensive raffle ticket and wins a one-week, all-expenses-paid trip to Morganthal Winery, owned by the infamous Drake Morganthal, whom Livvie has been stalking on the Internet since he began giving financial advice.

Drake Morganthal made billions on the New York Stock Exchange before buying a vineyard in Napa. Drake not only is an arrogant, billionaire playboy, but he's also the epitome of a hot, alpha male who is a huge commitment-phobe: the exact opposite of the kind of man Livvie needs in her life right now...

When she tells Drake she's not a big drinker, he comes up with a better way to spend the week together-as his lover. Livvie reminds herself of all the reasons that's a bad idea, especially when she learns the real reason he won't commit to any woman, ever.

Livvie constantly searches for some sign that he's feeling something more, something other than lust and an occasional willingness to share a bit of intimate conversation.

But her sign is revealed when he doesn't ask her to stay past the seven-day cut-off, and Livvie guesses she's not so special after all. But after she returns to L.A. and tries to pick up the pieces of her life, Livvie discovers Drake's expiration date might not be set in concrete, after all...
