Description

Being the daughter of the richest man in town had made Selene a target her entire life, but nothing like this had ever happened to her before. There had always been people around her who respected her enough and who also knew her father well enough not to touch her.
The one thing about her father that made Selene truly afraid was his pride. Would he give money to the criminals to get her back? It was doubtful. And if they didn't get the money, what would they do with her?
