Ariana often worked late, that was nothing new, but what happened on her walk home was. She had walked through that park over a hundred times, but that night something sinister waited for her. Frightened and trying to fight off her attacker, Ariana screamed for help and it came in a most unusual form. She'd never seen a wolf before, and certainly not one so purely white. She ran to the police station to file her report but her strange night didn't end there. Gabriel had seen the attacker on his way back from lunch and did the only thing he could think of to stop it. Now here she was, in his office, and was more beautiful than he remembered. But it was more complicated than any other case; she could potentially expose his secret if she ever found out where the wolf that saved her had come from.
